How to Take Off Gear Shift Knob - Honda Brio Automatic Transmission

Whether you need to replace or fix your Honda Brio gear shift knob, you need to take off the attached gear shift knob first. And it's not as difficult as you might think.

What you need:

  1. Your nail or flat-head screwdriver
  2. Plus screwdriver
Step 1. Separate the front side from rear side of shift knob by prying it using your nail or flat-head screwdriver.


The front side of gear lever:


Step 2. There are two bolts that attach the gear shift knob to the lever, open them using plus screwdriver.


Step 3. Pull the gear shift knob upward to separate from the lever.


Note: Please be careful, because there are some tiny parts made of plastic which easily broken.
